Technology designed around the real work of healthcare organisations
Infotower Business Solutions has operated since 2013. From the beginning, we have developed expertise in software engineering, systems integration and data processing. Over time, solutions for healthcare have become the central direction of our work.
We create proprietary products, develop artificial-intelligence technologies and build systems aligned with the processes of a specific organisation. Our solutions support medication management, inventory, medicine serialisation and the flow of important information in hospitals.
Our strength lies in bringing two worlds together. We have a team capable of designing, building, testing and implementing a complex information system. At the same time, we conduct research and development with scientists and domain experts.
We do not start by choosing a technology. We first learn the process, the problem and the needs of the people who will use the solution. Only then do we design the architecture, functionality and integration with the organisation’s existing environment.

Business established
Infotower Business Solutions is founded. The company develops expertise in software engineering, systems integration and data processing.

2017–2020
Development of proprietary R&D expertise
We conduct research and development on an innovative wireless nurse-call system for healthcare. The project strengthens our expertise in combining software, mobile devices and communication in a hospital environment.

The next stage
Products for hospital pharmacies and wards
We develop solutions addressing practical needs, including Infokolektor for medicine inventory and Infokowal for processes related to serialisation and medicine-pack verification.

2023
MedAlert
We begin a project focused on intelligent selection and routing of critical messages in inpatient care. Its objective is to reduce information noise and deliver the right information to the right people at the right time.

2026
Pharma Flow and the next stage of growth
We begin developing Pharma Flow, an artificial-intelligence solution for forecasting medicine demand, optimising inventory and supporting hospital-pharmacy processes. The company also enters its next stage of organisational development under a new Chief Executive Officer.

Aleksander Werner, MSc Eng.
President of the Management Board, Infotower Business Solutions
A graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology, specialising in mechatronics. He completed his studies in 2018, earning a Master of Science in Engineering degree.
He began his professional career at the Research and Development Centre for Mechanical Equipment “OBRUM” in Gliwice, where he gained experience in an environment combining engineering, research and manufacturing. He later worked on production-process optimisation, focusing on improving efficiency and making better use of resources.
At Infotower Business Solutions, he developed expertise in business and systems analysis and the implementation of information systems. He worked with users and project teams to identify needs, design processes, define requirements and launch systems in client environments.
He participated in numerous research-and-development projects, combining technical, process and implementation perspectives. This experience enables him to translate research assumptions and the needs of healthcare organisations effectively into solutions that can be applied in practice.
He became President of the Management Board of Infotower Business Solutions on 1 June 2026. He is responsible for the company’s development, product-development directions, delivery of technology and R&D projects, and building long-term relationships with clients and partners.
Research and development team
We connect science with implementation practice
The Infotower Business Solutions R&D team brings together expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis and engineering, databases and software development. Its members carried out R&D work in the MedAlert project and are currently involved in developing Pharma Flow — an intelligent system supporting medicine-demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, contract monitoring and automated communication with suppliers.

Aldona Rosner, PhD Eng.
Head of Research and Development
She leads R&D work, ensuring methodological consistency, delivery of the research plan and translation of research outcomes into system prototypes.
She holds a doctorate in technical sciences in computer science and is a graduate of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology. Her academic experience includes research placements at Nottingham Trent University and the Technical University of Munich. She specialises in databases, business intelligence, information systems and data mining.
At Infotower Business Solutions, she served as Head of R&D in the MedAlert project, coordinating the research work, delivery of the research plan, collaboration within the interdisciplinary team and monitoring the achievement of planned results. She currently leads R&D work in the Pharma Flow project and is responsible for methodological consistency, milestone verification, documentation quality and connecting research outcomes with the target system prototype.
She is also involved in promoting knowledge about new technologies, including the applications of artificial intelligence in medical diagnostics.

Małgorzata Bach, DSc, PhD Eng.
Expert in artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science
She designs and evaluates machine-learning methods and AI models used in the MedAlert and Pharma Flow projects.
She specialises in data analysis and engineering, machine learning and the design of methods for the effective processing and use of large information sets. Her research interests also include imbalanced-data classification, the selection of data-storage structures, information security and the optimisation of analytical processes.
At Infotower Business Solutions, she was responsible for R&D work in the MedAlert project, particularly the development and evaluation of machine-learning methods used to select and route critical messages. She is currently responsible for research work in the Pharma Flow project, contributing to the preparation of research assumptions, AI model architecture, interpretation of results, milestone verification and documentation of R&D outcomes.
Her experience also includes participation in Polish and international research projects, including initiatives delivered under the Horizon 2020 programme.

Aleksandra Werner, PhD Eng.
Expert in data, machine learning and research architecture
She combines expertise in databases, data architecture and machine learning with practical applications of AI in medicine.
She specialises in databases, analytical systems, NoSQL technologies, computer architecture and applications of artificial intelligence in medicine. She combines knowledge of data organisation and processing with experience in experiment design and the development of models supporting the analysis of medical information.
At Infotower Business Solutions, she was responsible for R&D work in the MedAlert project, contributing to the development of machine-learning methods used to identify risks and generate messages about patients’ condition. In the Pharma Flow project, she is responsible for data preparation, research-assumption design, model verification and translating research outcomes into the architecture of the solution under development.
She co-developed, among other solutions, Poland’s first osteoporosis fracture-risk calculator and the DECODE system, which uses data analysis and AI methods to detect COVID-19.

Krzysztof Werner, MSc Eng.
Researcher and software engineer
He combines research with prototyping, technical validation and the development of working software components.
He combines academic activity with practical experience in software design and development. He is a doctoral researcher at the Silesian University of Technology. His work focuses on solution prototyping, experiment preparation, technical verification of research concepts and transforming research outcomes into working components of information systems.
At Infotower Business Solutions, he was responsible for R&D work in the MedAlert project, supporting the preparation of research environments, prototype development and technical validation of the solutions developed. He currently contributes to R&D work in the Pharma Flow project, combining a research perspective with software engineering. His responsibilities include prototyping, preparing tools that support experiments, verifying the technical feasibility of model implementation and collaborating with the AI and software-production teams.

From process analysis to a stable solution working in a healthcare organisation.
Research outcomes, a strong idea and modern technology create value only when they can be transformed into secure, understandable and maintainable software. Infotower therefore combines its own R&D team with expertise in analysis, architecture, AI, backend systems, mobile and web applications, and quality assurance.
The production team participates throughout the solution lifecycle—from understanding user needs and designing integrations to implementation, testing, deployment, documentation and further development. We place particular emphasis on adapting the system to the real working conditions of a hospital rather than forcing the organisation to adapt to the technology.
Analysis and architecture
We learn the processes, model requirements, and design data flows and system architecture. We take into account existing hospital solutions, security, integrations and long-term maintenance.

We create backend systems, web and mobile applications, and AI-powered components. We connect them to HIS, pharmacy, laboratory, warehouse and other source systems.

Architecture and analysis

Tomasz Werner
IT Architect
He is responsible for solution architecture, integration with hospital systems and the technical consistency of projects.
Tomasz Werner designs how systems are divided into modules, their data flows and integration interfaces. He supports the team in selecting technologies, deployment methods and rules for communication with software operating in healthcare organisations.
He focuses on ensuring that technical decisions follow the user’s real process and that the solution is scalable, maintainable and capable of secure integration with hospital infrastructure. He works with analysts, the R&D team and leaders of the individual software-production areas.

Janusz Jasłowski
Chief Business Analyst
He models processes and translates the needs of healthcare organisations into requirements for researchers and developers.
Janusz Jasłowski combines knowledge of healthcare processes with more than 30 years of experience in software production. He specialises in business and systems analysis, process modelling, and documentation that creates a shared language for users, domain experts and the technical team.
He has led projects related to optimising medication management in hospitals and has participated in initiatives using information technology and AI in medicine. At Infotower, he safeguards the completeness of requirements, their consistency with project objectives and the ability to verify outcomes unambiguously.
AI and backend

Adam Marszowski
AI Lead and AI Solutions Architect
He designs AI component architecture and leads teams developing LLM, RAG and agentic solutions.
Adam Marszowski specialises in designing applications that use artificial intelligence, particularly large language models, RAG solutions and agentic systems. He assesses feasibility, selects the architecture, technologies and validation method, and then coordinates implementation and optimisation of AI components.
He has experience in automating the analysis of documents, tenders and complex information processes. In Infotower projects, he is responsible for translating research and business assumptions into components that can be integrated with backend systems, data and the user interface.

Krzysztof Werner, MSc Eng.
Backend Lead and AI Engineer
He designs backend systems, microservices and real-time data-processing mechanisms, combining engineering with research.
Krzysztof Werner combines academic activity with the design and development of complex backend systems. He works with Java, microservice architecture, messaging systems and different database engines, including in solutions that process data in real time.
As Backend Lead, he is responsible for the technical quality of the server layer, coordination of development work and connecting backend services to AI components and source systems. He is also a member of the R&D team and a doctoral researcher at the Silesian University of Technology.
Mobile applications

Paweł Sapek, MSc Eng.
Senior Mobile Application Developer
He creates online and offline Android and Flutter applications that work with scanners and hospital systems.
Paweł Sapek specialises in mobile applications for healthcare. He works with native Android and cross-platform technologies, including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform and Flutter.
He has contributed to applications for medicine verification, hospital-pharmacy inventory and communication among medical staff, including Infokolektor and the mobile part of MedAlert. He develops solutions that can work without a permanent network connection and cooperate with external barcode scanners.

Daniel Pakosz, MSc Eng.
Mobile Application Developer
He develops Kotlin and Flutter applications—from interface and API integration to testing and CI/CD.
Daniel Pakosz participates throughout the mobile-application lifecycle: from interface planning and implementation to API integration, asynchronous communication, unit testing and build-process automation.
In the MedAlert project, he developed the interface from UX designs, integrated the application with backend services and RabbitMQ, and configured CI/CD. He also has experience with AMMS-integrated solutions and with developing 1D and 2D code-reading mechanisms for pharmacy using ML Kit.
Web applications

Tomasz Kuśka, Eng.
Web Software Lead
He is responsible for web-application architecture and implementation, backend integration and coordination of frontend work.
Tomasz Kuśka specialises in advanced web and integration systems. He works with technologies including PHP, Symfony, Java, Laravel, SOAP and REST services, and WebSocket-based real-time communication.
He has delivered solutions for healthcare and public administration, including medical-event platforms, patient portals, documentation systems, reporting and applications integrated with AI components. As a lead, he is responsible for the technical consistency of the interface and its integration with the backend.

Piotr Błoński, Eng.
Web Application Developer
He develops Angular and TypeScript applications, combining frontend work with an understanding of business processes and data models.
Piotr Błoński has been developing web systems since 2013. He focuses on Angular and TypeScript applications, and his experience also includes Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js, PHP, Symfony, Yii2, databases and Docker.
He has worked on remote-consultation and medical-documentation systems, educational platforms, clinical-data applications and software collecting data from medical devices. He also contributed to a pharmacy portal and integration software connecting several systems.
Testing and documentation

Wojciech Cydzik
Testing and Documentation Specialist
He supports manual testing and prepares user documentation and deployment materials in clear, accessible language.
Wojciech Cydzik supports product quality from the user’s perspective. He participates in manual testing, organises information and prepares instructions, implementation materials and information content.
He has more than 20 years of journalistic experience and can translate complex technical issues into clear language. At Infotower, he participated in Infokolektor deployments and learned the practical work of users conducting inventory in healthcare organisations.
