Infotower Business Solutions sp. z o.o. has received funding from the European Union for the implementation of the project “Development of an intelligent Pharma Flow agent using artificial intelligence and federated machine learning to optimise medication management and take over routine, time-consuming tasks performed by hospital pharmacy staff”.
The target group comprises healthcare organisations (hospitals).
The main objective of the project is to develop an intelligent agent based on advanced artificial intelligence (AI) methods and the innovative method of federated machine learning (federated learning), designed to optimise medication management and automate time-consuming and routine processes carried out by pharmacy staff in hospital pharmacies. Hospitals currently use specialised software that enables inventory records to be maintained, warehouse documents to be registered, financial settlements to be processed, and contracts for the supply of medicines and medical materials to be managed. Despite the high degree of computerisation, a significant proportion of tasks remains extremely labour-intensive and involves staff in tedious administrative activities that could be automated using modern technologies. The R&D module will include industrial research focused on developing new machine-learning algorithms, in particular those based on federated learning of artificial-intelligence models.
The result of the project will be:
- Intelligent Pharma Flow agent for optimising medication management and automating pharmaceutical processes
- Prototype of an intelligent system for optimising medication management and managing pharmaceutical processes
- Dedicated CRM/ERP system for managing Pharma Flow sales, marketing and customer service
- Responsive Pharma Flow website
- Advanced Pharma Flow customer portal with an AI chatbot
