Technology meets practice. Infotower and a hospital in Wałbrzych join forces on Pharma Flow
On 8 May 2026, we signed a cooperation agreement with the Dr Alfred Sokołowski Specialist Hospital in Wałbrzych. Joint work on Pharma Flow will combine Infotower’s technological expertise with the knowledge and experience of specialists who face the real challenges of hospital medication management every day.

An important step in the development of Pharma Flow
On 8 May 2026, Infotower Business Solutions and the Dr Alfred Sokołowski Specialist Hospital in Wałbrzych began a new stage of cooperation. The agreement on joint work on Pharma Flow was signed by the hospital’s director, Jolanta Królak, and Tomasz Werner, then President of the Management Board of Infotower Business Solutions.
For us, signing the agreement is more than the formal beginning of cooperation. Above all, it provides an opportunity to develop a modern technological solution in direct contact with people who understand the specific nature of hospital work, hospital pharmacy operations and medication-management processes.
With the involvement of specialists from the Dr Alfred Sokołowski Hospital, we will be able to align the planned functions even more closely with the real needs of healthcare organisations.

Pharma Flow—intelligent support for medication management
The objective of Pharma Flow is to develop an intelligent agent using artificial intelligence and federated machine learning. The solution is intended to support medication-management optimisation and automate routine, time-consuming tasks performed by hospital pharmacy staff.
The project provides for a system that will help streamline processes related to medicine management, data analysis and the organisation of work. Its role will not be to replace specialists, but to provide them with tools through which some repetitive activities may be performed faster and more efficiently.
As a result, staff will gain more time for tasks that require expert knowledge, responsibility and individual assessment.
Pharma Flow is one of Infotower Business Solutions’ key research and development projects. The project value exceeds PLN 22.1 million, of which more than PLN 16.1 million is contributed by European Funds.

The cooperation between Infotower and the Dr Alfred Sokołowski Specialist Hospital will bring together two perspectives: technology and healthcare practice.
On the one hand, we contribute experience in developing custom software, analysing data and building systems that use artificial intelligence. On the other, we gain access to the knowledge of experts who understand the real needs and challenges of healthcare organisations.
Combining these competences helps reduce the risk of creating solutions detached from practice. Every stage of the work can be assessed not only from a technical perspective, but also in terms of its actual usefulness to users.
